Marine Layer, San Francisco, CA - Technical Designer - Women’s Knitwear 6/2021-Present

Managing the technical development of garments from development to final fit approval. Focus on womenswear, knits and swimwear. Analyzing fit corrections based on garment fittings and applying feedback from the product design team. Writing fit comments for factory feedback, and translating design comments into technical changes to be applied by overseas vendors. Owning technical fit communication between overseas vendors, managing and tracking sample ETA’s and quality control of development and top of production samples.

Sarah Liller Design LLC, San Francisco, CA - Design Intern                                                 1/2019-6/2019

Duties included: Assisting Sarah with the sampling process and creating new patterns, and preparing patterns for digitizing. Organizing PO’s by date of shipment, assisting in organizing new inventory as it came in from the factories, and preparing shipments to retailers. Creating patterns for knits and wovens for a sustainable and ethical womenswear brand all designed and manufactured in San Francisco.

Sidone Lingerie, San Francisco, CA - Technical Designer, Manufacturer, Founder            1/2013- 9/2019

Duties included: Designing beautiful, functional and comfortable made to order bras and lingerie for women of all sizes. Creating a seasonal line and maintaining the website, grading drafted patterns and running extensive fit tests in person or over Skype on each size before release. Manufacturing all products by hand and arranging deliveries. Updating the brand’s social media presence on a regular basis. Keeping a running inventory of materials needed.

Duties included: Managing front of house team, assisting with scheduling and setting up Aloha POS daily.
